Slowly flowing lava from the erupting Kilauea volcano in Hawaii continues to move toward a local community, prompting local authorities to urge residents to evacuate.
The lava began to creep down Mount Kilauea on the island of Hawaii in June. As of 9 AM on Wednesday, it was within 240 meters of the main road of the local village, which has a population of around 800.
