The Hankai Line is a route of Hankai Tramway which connects from the Ebisu-cho station in Naniwa-ku, Osaka-shi to the Hamaderaekimae station of Nishi-ku, Sakai-shi, Osaka Prefecture, Japan.
The line's name comes from Osaka and Sakai because of kanji character for Saka which is also pronounced “han’ and Sakai’s kanji is also pronounced “kai’.
The Hankai Line was founded by the Hankai Tramway Co.Ltd.in 1910.
Since Osaka-shi has abolished the street car early, people can hardly see the streetcar now in Osaka.
